COURT PRIDE OF THE FOREST, A.O.F.
Toe annual summoned meeting of this Court was held in the Hillside Schoolroom, Wakapuaka, on Saturday, Jan. 9fcli, when there was a good attendance of members, Bro C. Wither, C.R., occupying the chair. The Auditors' report and balance sheet, which were read and adopted, showed that the total worth of the Court funds is now £930 2s 7d, an increase since Ist July last of £39 Ss 4cl. Of the funds some £850 is in- ' vested on good security, and bearing interest at (3 per cent. The membership of the Court is 34. Several notices of motion and recommendations of various Committees, which are to be brought before the annual District Meeting nest month, were fully discussed, after which a ballot was taken for two delegates to represent the Court at the_ said Meeting, which resulted in the election of Bros G. Dodson and W. H. Alborough. The District Sub-Chief Ranger and the District Secretary paid an official visit to the Court, and expressed their satisfaction at the manner in which the business was conducted, and also at the progress the Court continues to make.
