Messrs Shabp & Sons report as follows :— At our last stock sale we sold 160 crossbred ewes and wethers at 6s ; 130 forward sheep, nearly fat, at 7s; old oull merinos at 2s 6d; also privately, 460 good crossbred stores at 6s; useful horses at AS 10s: .On April 24 we held a sale at Mr Quinton mU a farm, and sold 10 good bacon pigs at £2 7s 6d; useful farm horsesy aged, at £11 10a, £18 10a,: and £20; pony at' £5. Good Jairy cows were sold privately at up to £6 10a. 80 sacks tailing barley brought about Is 6d per. bushel. , J£e were to have sold -30 head of oattle and I 3 horsea at Stanley Brook, but unfortunately forjhe owner-and auctioneer, they all died before we got te the sale. '.
