CABLE SHIP DAMAGED
SYDNEY, J-B«'.X7. The Cable repairing steamer Sbsrarl Osborne, which left tbis harbor a few day? ago for the purpose of repairing the Now Zealand cable, has returned.. Whoa about half way to New Zealand she' encountered a terrific gale, and a huge sea broke oh board damaging ali the deck houses, and wracking' the electricians room. The necessary repairs to the latter compelled her return to this port, snd it will take three weeks to refit.
