SYDNEY,
June 10. Mr Deasy, M,P. for Mayo, the oolleague of Mr Dillon and Sir T. Esmond, the Irish delegates to Australia, recently made accusations against the Postal Department here that valuable letters addressed to him had been tempered with by its oSieare. The Government instituted enquiries, but tbe matter remained involved in myetery. It has now transpired that Mr Deasy's mission includes ZmlS^mm'&tmSr't&'m, matoh with mistrust. She admits having opened the letters, and thus the officials are exonerated. ,
