(Per United Press Association.) DTJNEDIN, September 28. The official declaration of the poll for the City and Suburban seats took place to-day. There wa3 no material change in the figures, and forOunedin East Mr Allen's majority remained sib 29. Sir Robert Stout, in returning thanks,: said, he had received telegrams from all parts of the Colony condoling with him, and he was glad to say Major Atkinson has telegraphed, urging him to reconsider his decision to retire.
