The ' Times 1 of this morning announces that the Viceroy of India received a most cordial letter from the Nizaa of Hyderabad, in which he expresses Iris willingness to contribute twenty lacs of rupees yearly towards the defence of the Indian frontier. He farther declares . that England can count upon his sword .when the hour of. battle arrives; At the wool sales to-day, 9,100 bales were offered. The tone of the market was dull. Intelligence has reached here from Afghanistan reporting the defection of the Afghan General, Abdulla Khan, wHq, with the regiment under his command, consisting of two thousand Zamindwars, has escaped from Afghanistan for the purpose of joining AyoubKhan. SYDNEY, September 27. ™By the capsizing'of a boat irrßotany Bay to-da ■■■, four persons were drowned. Tha bodies have not yet been recovered. Mr Drake's horses have gone to Melbourne.
