[Before 0. Cubtis, Esq., X.M.] James Goodman was charged witk ■wilfully damaging Corporation property. It was stated that on the previous night the defendant became intoxicated and behaved in a most extraordinary manner, smashing win-; dows at the Golden Fleece Hotel and two street lamp». The defendant was ordered to; pay the amount of damage done to the street lamps 5s 6d, and to pay a fine of 20s with costs, or in default to be impiisoned for 48 hours. The defendant went to gaol.
