Melbourne at 4 p.m on Monday, 20tb instant, with a fresh N.E. wind; passed the Sisters next day at 2 p.m.; experienced strong E.N.E winds, with a very heavy, head sea, thick weather, and rain, all throughout; the passage, anchoring off Hokitika at 545 a.m on ;the 26th; sailed again at 5*40 p.m same day, met with moderate head winds and thick weather, with occasional showers, arriving at Nelson as above.
