" The Regulation of Elections Act, 1858," I, Thomas Bmtnneb, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of the City of Nelson, do hereby give notice, that by virtue of a Writ bearing date the 3rd day of Derember, 186S, issued under the hand of his Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, an ELECTION will'be held for the RETURN of a qualified person to serve as a MEMBER of the HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES for the said Electoral District, and that the NOMINATION of CANDIDATES will take place at the Provincial Hall, Nelson, on FRIDAY, the 18th day of December, 1868, at Noon, and that the POLL (if necessary) will take place on THURSDAY, the 24th day of December, 1868.
