WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18. ASSAULT. John Parker was brought up to answer an information laid against him by his wife, for having assauhed her on the morning of Tuesday lust. The defendant admitted the offence, and the Magistrate bound him over to keep tlio peace for twelve months, himself in £30, and two sureties in £20 each. DEBT CASES. Qarrard and Bullard v. Jennings, for £4-1 la. 7d. Judgment for plaintiff for £40 12s. and costs. Merrington v. Marks.—Tin? was an action for £2 12s. Judgment for plaintiff for amount claimed, with costs. Hornby v. Newland.—An action for £5 10a. 6d. Judgment for plaintiff for amount claimed, with costs. Mr. Kingdom appeared for plaintiff, and Mr. Pitt for defendant. Yickerman v. White. —An action for £19 Os. 6d., for medical attendance. Judgment for plaintiff for amount claimed and costs. Nath. Edwards and Co. v. Robert Aiken, for £86 Bs. 4d. Judgment for plaintiffs for amount claimed and costs. Tingle v. Brock, tor £1. Judgment for plaintiff, for amount claimed and co3ta.
