LONDON WOOL REPORT.

25th November, 1864. The last sales of the year commenced on the 17lh of November, and the arrivals to that date consisted of 20,507 bale?, Australian ; 13,347 halea Port Phillip ; 1851 bales Van Dicmau's Land; 5310 bales Adelaide; 9514. bales New Zealand; 243 bales Swan River; 28,422 bales Capo ; total, 79,269 bales, which with 15,000 bales held over and in second hands, made a total, for sale of 94,269 bales. The opening sale was attended by as large a mini- ' her of our own buyers as wo ever saAV ; those from the continent rather less than last sales, but have since increased, several influential buyers thence not arriving till the first few days' catalogues had been sold. The prices established the first evening were rather irregular, but may be quoted \c\. to Id. below August rates ; perhaps on very faulty Sydney and Capes, Id. to lid. At this decline there was plenty of competition, and for all good healthy wools free from fault there was very spirited bidding. Up to this date, 25th November, 29,000 balee have passed the hummer, a general wish existing on the part of importers to meet the market. There is no indication of any improvement from the opening; the large numboi'3 to be submitted will check any advantage that might have resulted from cheaper money. The enormous increase in the year's impoit of 58,000 bales to date must keep prices moderate for some time, and it behoves shippers on the other side to use caution in their purchases.

The selection of Sydney fleece is very indifferent, so large a quantity beiug very seedy and moaty.— Some Neivs.
