The fine ship Cashmere, in command of Captain Petherbi idge, formerly of the Maori, made her number on Monday at 7.30 a.m. ; she is a hundred and thiiteen days from the Downs, experiencing a protracted passage in consequence of light winds and calms. There was no occurrence of any note. This old-established and favorite Auckland trader comes into port in her wonted trim and creditable condition, the passengers, as usual, being highly gratified with the kindly courtesy of their captain, to whom they have presented a befitting testimonial of esteem. The Cashmere has brought 78 passengers, and a variety of singing and other birds; many, unfortunately^ died on the passage.— New Zealander, April 9.
