Kanaka Gold Prospecting.—We are informed that the diggers who have been prospecting at Karaka have relinquished that field, despairing to find gold in payable quantities, although it was everywhere present in minute particles. It is understood they have proceeded to the Manukau, ranges to continue their researches in that district*
