Robert Andrews was charged by John Sherwood, one of the constabulary,with being guilty on the previous evening of assaulting him whilst in the execution of his duty. Fined £2 and costs. Wm. Jones, a companion of Andrews, but not so outrageous in his conduct when taken, was fined £1 and costs. Gejrge Andrews v. Robert Anderson, for £14 for wages alleged to be due. George Andrews sworn : I have been employed by the defendant from January, 1858, to October, 1860, at the rate ot" £1 per week.
