WELLINGTON MARKETS.—January -1, 1861. ( From the Wellington Independent.) The following prices are quoted at the different mills, viz.; Schultze's mill—flour, £20 to £22 per ton; sharps, Bs. to 10s. per 100 lbs.; bran, Is. to Is. 3d. per bushel: wheat, Bs. to 8s 6d do. Britannia mill— flour, £20 to sharps, 8s to 10s per 100 lbs.; wheat, Bs. to Bs. 6d. per bushel; bran, Is 3d ditto. Vegetables.—Potatoes, 10s to 12s per cwt; cabbages, ss. per dozen ; turnips, Gd per bunch ; carrots, 5a per cwt; onions. 6d per lb. Butchers' Mkat —The market has been abundantly supplied with beef, mutton, axid veal. The following are the retail prices ; beef and mutton, 5d to 8d per lb; pork, 7d to 8d ; lamb, 6s 6d to 7s 6d per quarter. Powltrv and Dairy Produce.—The following are the prices at which the undermentioned articles are selling : butter, fresh, Is per lb ; eggs, Is 4d per doz; ham and bacon, 9d to Is 4d per lb; turkeys, 7s to 8s each ; geese, 5s to 6s each; ducks, 5s to 6s per couple; fowls, 5s to 6s per couple. Building Materials.—Sawn timber, boards, from 11s to 14s per 100 feet; kauri pine,2ls do; scantling, from 9s to 12s per 100 feet; bricks, £3 10s per 1000 ; lime, 2s 6d per bushel.
