The feteamer A,ire3aiie left her anchorage at Tarsujiaki at 40 minutes past 2 p.m. on Sunday last, and arrived here last 1 at 5 b'clock; She brings 129 passengers for this port,:and more are.expected onher, return trip, orders having 1 been issued for the whole of the families to clear out. A passenger by the Airedale,describes the scenej at Taranaki as most heart-rending. On Saturday Jast, a report was circulated that the natives were close, upon the town for the purpose ofr attacking it.; -The scene which followed baffles description: husbands, with their wives and children hurrying to the barracks, with, looks .of utter despair.
