Buoyant Poultry Market Prices for poultry were exceedingly good at yesterday’s sale conducted by G. D. Shepherd Ltd., turkeys particularly realising excellent figures. Turkey gobblers made 31s to 36s each turkey hens 14s to 15s 6d, ganders Ils 6d, geese 7s 6d to 9s, 8.0. hens 7s to 8s 6d, 8.0. roosters 5s to 7s, 8.1. R. hens 7s, W.L. hens 5s fo 7s, B M. hers 7s, smalt* cockerels 3s 6d hr. 5s 6d. There is a keen demand for -11 ires, with turkey gobblers and lens particularly sought.
