COUNTY OF KAWHIA
ANNUAL MEETING HELP ALL STRANGERS EXCLUDED The annual statutory meeting of the Kawhia County Council was held on Wednesday, when there were present; Crs E. Smith, W. D. Neal, T. B. Laimbeer, F. J. Stokes, S. D. Dillon, E. R. Jordan, and M- W. Cojitts. Cr Laimbeer moved that Cr Smith ho re-elected chairman for the ensuing term. ' Cr Coutts seconded the motion, which was carried by acclamation. Cr Smith briefly thanked the Councillors for the compliment and for their hearty co-operation during his term of office. The chairman then moved, and Cr Dillon seconded, that “ all strangers be excluded from this meeting.” The motion having been carried unanimously, the Courier reporter withdrew.
