HODGSON MOTORS LTD. 188 TE AWAMUTU BOROUGH COUNCIL NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE AND LEVY RATES IS HEREBY GIVEN that, in pursuance of the powers conferred upon it by the Rating Act, 1925, the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933,. the Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1926, and all other ppwers it thereunto enabling, the Te Awamutu Borough Council intends, at a meeting of the said Council to be held in the Municipal Chambers, Roche Street Te Awamutu, on MONDAY, 26th September, 1949, at 7 p.m. to make and levy the following Rates for the period commencing on the first day of April, 1949 and ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1950, upon all the ratable property in the Borough on the basis of the unimproved value, to be due,, and payable in one sum on the third day of October, 1949: A. A Consolidated Rate of one shilling and four pence three farthings (Is 4Sd) in the £ in lieu of the following:— A General Rrftc of eight pence (8d) in the £. A Separate Rate of three eighths of a penny (id) in the £ for Street Lighting. A Separate Rate of two pence (2d) in the £ for Hospital Board Levy. A Separate Rate of two pence farthing (2id) in the £ for No. 1 Conversion Loan. A Special Rate of two pence (2d) in the £ for No. 2 Conversion Loan. A Special Rate of one penny (Id) in the £ for Water Supply Loan, 1948. A Special Rate of one eighth of a penny (»d) in the £ for New Stock Road Loan, 1941. A Special Rate of one penny (Id) in the £ for Sewerage Improvement Loan,' 1946. B. A Separate Water Supply Rate of one penny (Id) in the £, with a minimum charge of 10s. C. A Uniform Rubbish Collection Charge of 15s for each dwellinghouse within the-Borough for the removal of refuse, weekly service, the quantity in the rubbish container not to exceed 2 cubic feet; any quantitymn excess of 2 cubic feet to be' charged Id per cubic foot. That a rebate of five per centum of the Consolidated Rate be allowed if such Rates are paid within thirty days of the’ due date for payment thereof. And notice is hereby given that the Valuation Roll is deposited in the Municipal Offices aforesaid and is there open for inspection without fee at any time during office hours.
