YOUNG FARMERS’ CLUBS AT TAUPIRI HIGH STANDARD IN HORSE EVENTS The annual Farmers’ Sports held at Taupiri last week-end provided some high standards in the horse, events and close finishes in the athletic events. Late harvesting and the fact that other sporting* fixtures were held on the same day resulted in a smaller attendance than usual. Several Te Awamutu entrants were successful.
