Where the Fault Lay
“ The greatest crime was that I was caught.” stated a defendant in a letter pleading guilty to a charge of having liquor in the vicinity of a dance hall. The letter was read to the magistrate, Mr S. L. Paterson, S.M., in the Te Awamutu Court yesterday.
