Water Supply Outside Borough
An application for a water connection to a proposed staff dwelling to be erected outside the borough, by the Waipa County Council, was before the Te Awamutu Borough Council on Monday night. After a very brief discussion during which it was stated that other applications for connections outside the borough had been refused and that next summer’s water supply was likely to cause concern, it was decided to defer action in regards the request until matters pertaining to the alteration to the dam on Mt. Pirongia was advanced further.
