Cricket Association Meeting
Members of cricket clubs are reminded of the annual meeting of the Waipa Cricket Association to be held in the Courier Office this evening. A large attendance is hoped for. Dancing Successes The following successes were gained at the Auckland Competitions by pupils of Miss Elaine North:—Dorothea Hunkin, 3rd in the Highland Fling, under 9 years; 3rd in the tap dance, 8 and under 10; V.H.C. demicharacter, 8 and under 10; V.H.C. song and dance, under 9; V.H.C. operatic dance, 8 and under 10. Bernice Hewlett, 3rd in skipping; V.H.C. in operatic, demi-character and tap dances, 7 and under 8, and V.H.C. in song and dance under 9 years. Susan Rcthery, 3rd tap, 7 and under 8 years. Cherry Lee, 3rd tap dance, 12 and under 14 years; V.H.C. operatic dance and Highland Fling, 12 and under 14 years. There were record entries in all classes.
