FINAL PAYMENTS

MORRINSVILLE DAIRY COMPANY Having paid I.OOd per pound butterfat on last season’s supply in June, the Morrinsvilie Co-operative Dairy Company I Limited,, had a further payment of 1.940 d still to be distributed in cash in relation to last season’s operations and which would be paid out prior to the end of the month, stated the general manager and secretary of the company, Mr J. L. Faulkner, on Wednesday.

In addition, it is proposed to pay a dividend of 3 per cent upon capital and a substantial rebate upon trading operations. Including these latter two payments, and faking into account farm cost allowances paid in June and July, 1947, the company’s averaage payment is 26.856 d. Inclusive of cartage, the total payment is 27.137 d which is a record payment in the company’s history. Suppliers to the company milk factory at Motumaoho will receive premiums for milk over and above these payments.
