TE AWAMUTU BEAUTIFYING SOCIETY ■T'HE GARDEN CUP COMPETITION is being re-instituted for annual competition for the best-kept ground within the Borough. Points will be allotted for neatness of grounds, and will cover fruit, flowers, vegetables, and lawn. Three inspections will be made to award points during the period of the Competition, which commences on Ist- September and ends on 28th February. Intending entrants are requested to notify the undersigned before Ist September. First, Second, and Third Prizes will also be awarded for the Best-kept Frontages. ' Concurrently with the inspections for the Cup Competition the Judges will also inspect street frontages to award noints for these prizes.
