Hotels and Tourists
Commenting on the difficulties of getting hotel accommodation in New Zealand, Mr C. T. Brady, an American, said in Christchurch that a country could never build up a big tourist circulation unless it was easy to get accommodation. An American, for instance, wanted to be able to go from one place to another in his own time and at his own convenience. He did not want to be bound down to a definite itinerary.
