Riding Accounts
The abolishment of separate riding accounts was advocated by Mr H. Grierson (Honikiwi) at a recent meeting of the Otorohanga County Council, in the course of a review of the £lO,OOO loan proposal for the provision of workers’ houses in the County. Mr Grierson advanced a number of reasons for the abolishment of riding accounts, but no discussion ensued.
