Cash Donations may be sent to Mr L. A. Truscott, Union Bank of Australia. Donations of Goods may be left at the Regent Lounge, the Bank of New Zealand, the Union Bank of Australia, or the Empire Theatre. The following Goods will be very acceptable for packing into parcels:— Edible Dripping in 11b tins, Honey, Steak and Kidney, Cheese, Shreddo, Dried and Condensed Milk, Lamb and Green Peas, Sheep’s Tongues, Jelly Crystals, Barley Sugar, and Soap. As founder of the Roose Shipping Company I have been* closely associated in matters affecting transportation and therefore can, from the basis of actual knowledge, present the requirements of the Waikato and serve the welfare of the people on a Board which controls the main port of entry for the district’s imports and exports.
