WHAREPAPA SOUTH BRANCH At the request of the residents of Wharepapa South, a branch of the above mentioned organisation was re-formed. Mrs McWhannell, Waipa Provincial president, together with Mrs Godfrey, secretary, and Mrs Kirkham, housekeeping secretary, attended the meetings and gave talks respectively on the history of the Division, Division matters, and the housekeeping work. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mrs Gyde; secretary, Mrs Barnsdall. Branch Formed at Te Rore Recently Mrs McWhannell and Mrs Godfrey attended a good district representative meeting at the Te Rore Hall. After outlining the aims and objects of the Women’s Division, and relating the history of the organisation, it was unanimously decided to form a branch in.Te Rore. The following officers were elected:—President, Mrs Krippner; secretary, Mrs St. Geqrge; treasurer, Mrs H. Thomas; vice-presidents, Mrs Hartley Hall and Mrs committee, Mesdames Lambeth, Livingstone, J. McKinnon and J. Butterworth. Waipa Provincial officials wish these two new branches every success.
