WAIKATO CLAIMS REALISED FEDERATED FARMERS ORGANISATION i “The recognition by the Auckland Conference of Federated Farmers (Auckland Province) Inc., of the existence of Waikato as a separate; province of the Dominion organisation was accepted with gratification by a very large percentage of the farmers in the Waikato area,” stated Mr W N. Perry, president of the Waikato Province in an interview to-day. The desire for provincial status "in the Waikato area had been expressed for many years as it was considered Waikato with its vast production of export produce was entitled to be a fully fledged member of the Dominion organisation. In commenting on the Auckland conference Mr Perry stated he was impressed with the goodwill shown by the delegates from the rest of the Auckland province and the spirit shown in the acceptance of Waikato’s provincial status. With the further display and continuance of tjie goodwill the two provinces would work hand in hand for the common good of the producers in New Zealand.
