WAIPA OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP ATTRACTION THIS WEEK-END The Golf tournament to be held over the week-end has attracted the most prominent professional and amateur golfers in the country. There are 19 professionals participating and over 70 amateurs on single figures. The professionals include Murray Shaw, Guy, Douglas, Dyke, Fuller and Albon. The amateurs include Bob Gladirig, Jeffery Bros- from New Plymouth, the Young Bros., Pelham and HayMeKenzie from Auckland. The links are in perfect condition and excellent golf will be witnessed,' especially as this is the final try-out before the New Zealand Open Championships next month at Palmerston North.
