RABBITSKIN SALE

MARKET FAIRLY FIRM WINTER GRADES AGAIN EASIER A medium-sized catalogue was submitted to a full bench of buyers at the fortnightly sale of the Otago Farmers’ Co-operative-Association at Dunedin. There was an exceptionally keen demand, and consequently competition was again well spread. There was a predominance of milky skins offered, due no doubt, to the bonus of 7s per lb, which was payable as from this auction, together, of course, with the subsidy of 4d for all small skins. Prices could be generally quoted from par to slightly firmer in comparison with last sale.
