HONOUR BESTOWED
MR ROBERT HENRY GOODALL COMMENDATION FOR VALUABLE SERVICE IN THE AIR Commendation for valuable service in the air has been conferred on Pilot-Officer Robert Henry Goodall, R.N.Z.A.F., by Hi s Majesty the King in the Birthday Honours. Mr Goodall, who received his primary and secondary education in Te Afamutu, was trained at Levin and in Canada. He served in the United Kingdom and the Pacific. On his return from the former place he served for a few months at Nelson prior to going to the Pacific. Among the messages of congratulation received were telegrams from the Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and the Chief of the Air Staff. To those will be added the hearty congratulations of a host of Te Awamutu and district friends.
