Mr and Mrs J. Waters have returned from Warkworth where they, were present at the Copestake—Waters wedding. Mr Walter George Bedford of Young Street was admitted to the Waikato Hospital on Monday, suffering from lacerations to a finger when it was caught in a circular saw. Mr Hugh Duncan and Mr A. W. Skinner have been elected representatives of the Te Awamutu Acclimatisation Society on the Council of the Auckland Society. Mr G. E. Clarke (Te Awamutu) and Mr A. M. Clarke (Kawhia) have returned to their respective homes after having attended the annual conference of the New Zealand Returned Services Association. The Rev. W. C. Wood, acting vicar of St. Aidan’s, Claudelands, was a visitor to Te Awamutu to-day. He officiated at the Randall—Rowan wedding in St. John’s Church this morning. Dr J. B. W. Roberton and Messrs H. A. Swarbrick, S. A. Empson, Howard Empson, D. Jolly, G. Wallace, and. Roger Swarbrick attended King’s College old boys’ diamond jubilee celebrations in Auckland during the past week-end.
