Kawhia town district and Kawhia county comprise Census District No. 15, which is controlled by the postmaster, Te Awamutu. Sub-enu-merators have been appointed as follow: Kawhia town district, Mr M. H. Taylor, Kawhia; Oparau riding, Mr R. S. Clark, Oparau; Awaroa-Te Kauri and Wiaiharakeke areas, Mr F. H. J. Ormsby, Hauturu; Taharoa and Marokopa areas, Mr R. Neeley, Te Anga.
