It was a good performance, even though it may have surprised, for Babrow to win over a mile and a quarter at Paeroa. By Hunting Song from the Lapidary mare Princess Rewa, he may now go on with it. Previously, he had been merely a sprinter. Beaten in the Alf Brown Memorial Handicap at Paeroa recently, Foxbrae will make amends. Probably a slightly longer journey will be more to his liking. Bournemouth has failed to win a race in three seasons, but he has been placed in his last two starts and should make good. He is by Cambria Park from the Lucullus mare Wye, whose fourth dam was imported Sister Agnes, from Rosicrucian.
