PATRIOTIC CONCERT
FINE PROGRAMME ARRANGED At the grand patriotic concert to be presented at the Empire Theatre onSunday evening next the Municipal Orchestra will be assisted by Sergeant H. Loach, R.N.Z.A.F., and Mrs Loach, of Te Awamutu. Both these talented artists have spent manyyears on the London and Continental stages, and one of the special items will be their own double act. which has never previously been performed in New Zealand. Another fine artist is Mr Wi. Trenberth, a noted tenor singer from Hamilton, and other able artists will also assist. The items of the Orchestra alone will be sufficient to warrant the attendance of a large audience. Mrs P. Martin-Smith will officiate at the piano.
