TWENTY-FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY
Tokanui Cross-roads Hall was prettily decorated in pale pink and blue streamers and flowers for the twentyfirst birthday party of Kathleen, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs J. G. Kirkham, of Ngahape, last Saturday evening. About two hundred guests were present. The time was passed with dancing, games, and a musical programme, Mr H. Wyllie being Master of ceremonies.
Miss Kirkham received many congratulations and a great number of beautiful gifts from her family and friends, including the keys of both back and front doors of her home.
There were visitors from Auckland, Warkworth, Papakura, Hamilton, and the districts round Te Awamutu. All the floral decorations were done by Mrs G. Bowden, an aunt of Miss Kathleen Kirkham.
