“PROSPEROUS AND SUCCESSFUI PAST ” “ We have come, tardily, to recognise that nothing less than a revolution in our traditional ways of life is required to gear us up for victory,’ says the Yorkshire Post. ‘ No less necessary is a revolutior in our traditional way of thought. But no contented re liance on old habits and methods wil avail. “ In our glorious days we were repeatedly first in the field with new in ventions, new tactics, new pioneering adventures by land and sea. That if the spirit, the spirit which is always pressing on towards new horizons which in the ardour of its faith burns away all conventional objections anc obstacles in its path, that must b( re-awakened in Britain now.’’
