“The past season has been one of changing conditions due to the large number of calls on the veterinarians’ services owing to stock troubles which might be put down to a number of causes, while international conditions had also added to the difficulties in controlling the affairs of the association,” commented the president of the Morrinsvilie Veterinary Association, Mr A. Vickers, in presenting his report to the third annual meeting, held this week. A total of 5320 calls had been made, with mileage amounting to 64,132 miles, an average of 12.26 miles per visit. The veterinarians who had been appointed were: Messrs W. T. Cawker. B.V.Sc. (Toronto), D. J. Smith, B.V.Sc., B.Agr.S. (Toronto), and R. K. Griesbach, B.V.Sc., all of whom had been recommended by Dr. McGilvray, principal of the Ontario Veterinary College, Guelph, Canada.
