OPENING DAY GOOD ATTENDANCE OF PLAYERS The Te Awamutu Ladies’ Golf Club held its official opening day on Saturday last, when a good crowd of members and intending members attended. A number of friendly games were played during the afternoon, the Bogey competition being won by Miss D. Palmer and Miss S. Blundell. In presenting the trophy and extending a welcome to all players, the Club Captain (Miss E. Scarfe) expressed the hope that the forthcoming season would in every way be on a par with previous ones.
