The Oil Drums, etc., that have already been donated are much appreciated, but so far represent only onequarter of what is required. FARMERS ! Bring in the scrapiron lying about your farms, bits of broken implements, .used pieces of water piping, however short or long. THEY WANT THEM RIGHT NOW ! Mr W. Sinnott, care of Miller’s Radio, Mr Syd. Bayly, of Messrs Bayly and Thomas, or Mr T. Stancliffe, of the Technical School, will be glad to receive your contribution. As the Mechanic Section develops there will be periodical appeals for further supplies of various waste articles. The policy is to utilise to the utmost all that the district' can provide, and so conserve the funds collected at the recent “ Awake, New Zealand ” Meeting for purchasing such requirements as cannot be obtained here. The production of Mills Bomb Ejectors, Signal Lamps, Rifle Mechanisation of Sporting Guns, etc., is proceeding apace. But still more and more METAL WORKERS, FITTERS, WELDERS, and GENERAL HANDY MEN are wanted to report to Mr Owen O’Brien at the Te Awamutu Technical School at 7.30 p.m. on Tuesdays or Fridays or both.
