THE MARRIED MEN
EXAMINATIONS AT TE KUITI Altogether out of 105 men from the “ married men ” ballot so far examined at Te Kuiti by the Medical Board, no less than 91 have been passed as fit for service. A fair percentage of those in the first two grades were either IA or HA—that is, they would require minor remedial treatment before they would become fit for service. Actually Grade I men are those fit for overseas service, and Grade II men those fit for home service; but as the last ballot was a Territorial one it is not anticipated that in the posting of these men to camp there will be any difference between the Grade I and Grade II men.
