TE AWAMUTU BOROUGH COUNCIL yOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Te Awamutu Borough Council proposes to raise a special loan under the provisions of “ The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926.” The purpose for which the loan is required is for dedicating and constructing a new street from Alexandra Street west of the Railway Line to Tawhaio Street, including the purchase of land and erection of fencing. The sum proposed to be borrowed is £2300. The proposed security is a special rate of 3-16 d in the pound on the ratable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all ratable property in the Borough of Te Awamutu. The loan is to be repaid in 20 years with interest at £3 10s Od per centum per annum. The loan, together with interest thereon, shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual or half-yearly instalments extending over a term of 20 years. It is proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan but not the interest and sinking fund for the first year. By Order of the Te Awamutu Borough Council. DUDLEY BOCKETT, Town Clerk.
