ENJOYABLE CARD PARTY. A very successful card afternoon was held at the residence of Mrs C. G. Downes on Wednesday afternoon in aid of the funds of the Girl Guides. The rooms were beautifully decorated with idesia berries, japonica and spring flowers. The competition was won by Mrs S. Clark, while Mrs J. Russell was the winner of the 500 and Mrs S. C.
