WAR CASUALTIES
THE LATEST LISTS. NAMES OF LOCAL MEN. The latest casualty lists contain the names of the following: KILLED IN ACTION. Graham, John Cameron (Mr D. J. B. Graham, Otorohanga, brother). The soldier, who has now made the Supreme Sacrifice, was a son of the late Mr T. F. Graham, of Honikiwi. who died only a few months ago. He was widely known and respected in the Otorohanga district, where he was regarded as a wonderful worker. MISSING. Mrs H. Steer, of Te Awamutu, has received a cable from Australia that her brother, Sergeant L. H. Westbrook, of the A.I.F. has been posted as missing. This soldier was for about two years on the staff of the Waitomo Hotel, leaving for Australia about 12 years ago. He fought in the Great War, seeing service in India, Mesopotamia (Irak), France and Egypt. WOUNDED. Broadmore, Robert John Goodwin Lance-Gorporal (Mrs C. G. Broadmore, Te Kuiti, wife). Howland, Bertram John Hugh (Mrs (Mrs J. E. Howland, Putaruru, mother).
