OBITUARY
MISS C. J. LUNDON. The death has occurred of Miss Clara Josephine Lundon, of Collingwood Street, Ponsonby, at the age of 82. She was the daughter of the late Mi John Lundon, former Liberal member of Parliament for the Bay of Islands and also the representative of two electorates, Onehunga and Raglan, on the Auckland Provincial Council in the 50’s and 60’s. Born in Onehunga, Miss Lundon was educated at the Convent of the Sisters of Mercy in Onehunga and later lived in Awanui, Hokianga, Onehunga and Auckland. She joined the native department of the Auckland Education Board and taught at To Rau-a-moa, Raglan and Papamoa, Bay of Plenty, until she retired on superannuation 17 years ago.
