HOW TO SUCCEED
PATIENCE WILL WIN
“The murderous severity of the repressive measures,’’ asserts the “Liverpool Post,” shows that the Nazis fear the prevailing temper of the Czech people and are trying io quell it under a reign of terror. They may well fear this temper, for the courage, independence and tenacity of the Czeteh people are universally known. Both executions and concentration camps cannot crush their will to resistence and to a free life. Rather they can only fan it into a fiercer flame. The Nazi, indeed, as an American paper aptly comments, have now ‘sown the dragon’s teeth’ with a vengeantee, and they must reap the reward. Nor will it be only in Czechoslovakia, but also in Poland, where sinister Nazi repression keeps an unwilling people in subjection. Probably, reports of ‘all quiet’ on the Czeteh and Polish fronts will be heard for some time yet. But no one outside Germany should be deceived. It will be the patient quiet of determined peoples waiting the right moment to risk all in fighting for their lost liberties.”
