A feature of the drawing of the Good Luck Art Union in Wellington on Friday afternoon was the good fortune of ticket-holders in the North Island. The first prize went to Te Kuiti, and all but two of the seven tickets winning the main prizes were bought in the North Island. The winner of the first prize used the nom de plume of “Lucky Birthday.” The second prize of £lOOO was won by a Wanganui ticket-holder under the nom de plume of “Ihopie.” Two of the main prizes went to Tolaga Bay. The fourth prize of £4OO was drawn by a Christchurch' butt, and the fifth prize, £3OO, went to Dunedin. At the drawing of the previous art union in December all but pne of the main prizes went to the South Island.
