LOCAL MATINEE SPORTS. On; Wednesday evening another of the series of sports meetings under the aegis of Te Awamutu Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club was held at Albert Park. The track was not so fast as usual, but fairly good times were Recorded, and some keen finishes resulted. Details are:— 100 yards handicap: M. Webber 1, W„ Kepple 2, D. Paul 3. Time, 10 seconds. ' 440 yards handicap: M. Webber J, G. Reilly 2, W. Kepple 3. Ohq mile cycle handicap: K. Dal-ziel-1, K. Walker 2, B. Irwin 3, J. A. Robertson 4, Time, 2.30. Two miles cycle handicap: B r Irwin and K. Dalziel (dead heat) 1, J. A. Robertson 3.
Three miles cycle handicap: J. A. Robertson 1, B. Irwin 2, K. Dalziel 3. Time, 9.10.
